After meeting with you, we begin our journey with the Gap Mesopotamia Tour. After our first break at Bolu Kaynaşlı Türsan Rest Area, we will pick up guests coming from Ankara and then proceed to our second break point in Pozantı at Demirel’s for our final stop, where we will have breakfast at Gaziantep Zeugma Cafe (Extra), which promises us a magnificent traditional breakfast. After breakfast, we head to Gaziantep, a city awarded the title "Gazi" on February 8, 1921, to start our tour at the Gaziantep Castle and the 14 Martyrs Monument, dedicated to the children who died at the Dokurcum Mill. Following that, we will visit Copper Bazaar, Yemeniciler Arasta, Almacı Market, and Tahmis Coffeehouse. During our free time here, you can enjoy Menengiç Coffee and shop for Pistachio, Copper, and Yemeni goods. After completing our historical bazaar tour, we provide free time for you to taste Gaziantep's famous flavors (Extra). After our lunch break, we will visit the Zeugma Mosaic Museum, where mosaics from the Roman Generals' Villas that were saved from the submerged Zeugma City under the waters of Birecik Dam are displayed. After viewing the Gypsy Girl and other mosaics, we will finalize our historical bazaar exploration and give you the opportunity to shop at Ayıntap Baklava, the most famous baklava maker in Gaziantep. At the end of the day, we will move to Şanlıurfa with the delicious taste of baklava in our mouths and check into our hotel. Accommodation is in our hotel. Ibrahim's Tomb, Shanlıurfa Castle, Viranşehir, Kızıltepe, Mardin On the 3rd day of our Storm Like GAP Mesopotamia Tour, after having breakfast at our hotel, we reach the famous Harran, known for its domed houses and unique culture (Extra). Here, we will visit the Harran Ulu Mosque, which is the oldest mosque established during the Islamic era in Turkey, the First Islamic Madrasah (Harran University), the Inner Castle, and the Historical Walls, and we will be hosted in one of the Conical Domed Houses. During this enjoyable visit, you can wear local costumes and take photos (Extra). After our visit to the Harran house, we will return to Shanlıurfa, known as the City of Prophets, where it is believed that Prophets Adam, Job, Ibrahim, Shuayb, and Elyasa lived, and we will explore Balıklı Göl (Lake Halil-Ül Rahman), Ayn-ı Zeliha Lake, which is said to be formed by the tears of King Nimrod's daughter Zeliha, and the Cave where Hz. Ibrahim was born. During our lunch break (Extra), we will taste the famous flavors of Shanlıurfa and after the meal, we will go to Arda İsot Palace. We will shop for isot, tomato paste, pomegranate syrup, pistachios, and many local products. After our tours in Shanlıurfa, we will reach Göbeklitepe, the world's first place of worship and settlement, to see the temples from 12,000 years ago and the carvings of cranes, snakes, and pigs, and we will depart from Shanlıurfa. We will start our journey using the Historical Silk Road, which will take approximately 2.5 hours. We will have a panoramic view of Viranşehir and Kızıltepe from our bus and arrive at our hotel in Mardin. Dinner and accommodation will be at our hotel. On the 4th day of our Storm Like GAP Mesopotamia Tour, after having breakfast at our hotel, we will start exploring Mardin, known for its description “Jewelry by Night, Delight by Day.” Our first sightseeing spot will be the Kasımiye Medrese. After enjoying this magnificent structure and listening to our guide's explanations, we will get off our bus at Diyarbakır Gate and take minibusses (extra charge) to reach Republic Square. From here onwards, we will explore Mardin on foot. We will see the famous minaret of Ulu Mosque, the Arched Street, Şahtana Mansion, and Şehidiye Mosque before finishing our Mardin City Tour. After some free time, we will meet our vehicle at Savur Gate and visit the Deyrul Zaferan Monastery, built over a Sun Temple from the 5th century. After the monastery visit, we will take a break for lunch. (Extra charge) We will leave Mardin and head to another visual feast point, Midyat. With enough participation and time for our guide to organize, we may arrange a Dara Ancient City Tour. Here, we will visit the Guest House that hosted the series “Sıla” and have a short break at Dara Telkari to learn about Midyat's famous filigree art and to do some shopping. During this time, we will also visit the Saido Egyptian Bazaar to shop for Blue Almond Candy dyed with the root of the Lahor tree. After our Midyat tour, we will head to Hasankeyf, a place filled with great sorrow due to being submerged under the waters of the Ilısu Dam. In its new location, we will see the Zeynel Bey Tomb and other historical artifacts. During our free time, guests who wish can join our extra Hasankeyf Boat Tour (Extra). After the boat tour, if we have sufficient time, our guide may arrange an extra Malabadi Bridge tour. After the extra tour, we will reach Diyarbakır via Batman. We will view the Diyarbakır Walls, which date back 9000 years and whose builders are unknown, and significantly, the Urfan Gate as we listen to our guide. We will visit the Diyarbakır Ulu Mosque, one of the oldest mosques in Anatolia and a sacred site for Islam, which was converted into a mosque in 639. After rejoining our vehicle at the Mardin Gate, we will see the Hevsel Gardens by the Dicle River, Keçi Bastion, and the On Gözlü Bridge panoramically before leaving Diyarbakır. Heading towards Siverek, we will pass over the Nissibi Bridge, built in 2015 with a length of 610 meters, located over the Atatürk Dam Lake, and reach our hotel in Adıyaman. On the 5th day of our Storm Like GAP Mesopotamia Tour, we set out in the early morning hours with our guests who wish to join us for the (Optional) Nemrut Mountain Sunrise tour. We reach the starting point of our walking path, which takes about 30 minutes by minibus. After a somewhat challenging hike, we watch the sunrise from the Altar and then see the Tomb of King Antiochos, as well as the Giant Statues of Antiochos, Zeus, Apollon, and Hercules before we start our return journey. After visiting the Karakuş Tumulus, where the graves of King Mithridates, his mother Isias, sister Antiochis, and nephew Aka are located, and the Cendere Bridge, built in honor of Roman Emperor Septimius Severus’s wife and sons, we will arrive at our hotel. After breakfast at the hotel, we check out and head to Halfeti, where we board our boat for an approximately 1-hour (Optional) Halfeti Boat Tour, where we will see the Princess Cave, the Rum Castle where John, one of Jesus' disciples, settled, and the Sunken Mosque and minaret in Fighting Village under the waters of the Euphrates, before returning to Halfeti, which is said to have received its name from the legend of two young lovers named Halil and Fatma. After our (optional) lunch break, we will get back into our vehicle and cross to the other side of the Euphrates to continue our tour. We will relish the enjoyment of introducing you to the culture and cuisine of Southeastern Anatolia and begin our return journey to drop you off at the points where we picked you up. We complete our Storm Like GAP Mesopotamia Tour leaving behind countless memories that will remain in your minds. We bid farewell until we meet again in another of our events.
